After her father's disappearance, Fishgirl's seamstress mother makes her a new hat to try and cheer her up. She also receives a kitten, left shyly on her doorstep by the local beggar-boy (you guessed it: Catboy). Now, normally she hates cats. They follow her around and steal her fish. But this was a gift, after all... So the cat stays. And is named, predictably enough: Tuna.
This started with an absent-minded sketch at work and ended up being a 3-4 hr piece. It didn't come out entirely as I'd imagined, but I'm pleased with it
