I've been working on this environment on and off for a little while, and finally got it to a point of completion that I'm satisfied with.
This environment fits into the same world as the Corpsefly Mother... The ruins were of a noble and orderly city that was destroyed when a young sorceress's love was spurned by the nation's prince. Enraged, she turned to the dark arts and destroyed the city... by day it is still hauntingly beautiful, by night, it houses the very pestilence that destroyed it...
Around 15-20 hours I think? Including thumbnailing and such... photoshop and a cintiq.
