Description
I thought I would put this up to show the method I used for speedpainting. This most likely is quite close to other things online, but it might be helpful for other people like me who tend to over-render or get lost in details.
I'm not claiming that the result is the most brilliant speedpaint ever, but I think because it's simple, it's easier to understand what goes into it.
A few notes that hit me as I was working:
-it's all about choosing where to add definition and detail
-stay loose
-use reference! you have to know what you're painting to even be able to hint at it in this simple way.
Again, I'm not an anatomy master, or a speedpaint master, but I'm figuring this out as I go. For those of you doing the same, I hope this helps

Speedpaintings just baffle me. Thank you for giving a glimpse into your process! It's the brush use and small tips versus the actual instruction that really help
(Also: that is one buff dude)
