If there's anything I hate, it's looking back on journal posts that go like this: "Hey folks! Sorry I've been absent, things have been really busy, blah, blah, hope to be around more--cheers!"... Then a gap of a few months to YEARS, and another one. Feeling very guilty that I've neglected this account and all the wonderful people that pop in to view my art and support what I do.

I'll do my best to update here as I update my other accounts (Artstation  and Facebook) because I know everyone has their favored viewing platforms. I can't promise to respond to everyone's comments, although I hope you know it's all very appreciated

In terms of what I've been doing all this time, I was working at a Montreal studio called Hibernum, first as a Lead artist, then as Art Director (Unfortunately it closed up last fall). I was also off on maternity leave for a while (hurrah Canada, they give us a full year!), and currently am again. In all that time, I hadn't produced much new work to speak of, and what I did produce is under NDA. That being said, my new little dude is a champion napper and I've gotten the chance to dive back into the artistic fray (it feels AWESOME). I'll be doing a big art dump in the next while, and I hope you enjoy it!
(Oh, also, I changed my name to... my name lol)

I've been focusing on my challenging and extremely rewarding new job over the past year and such, which left me little time for personal creations. Now that I have a bit of time on my hands, it's my goal to slowly reintegrate myself and get cracking on a few small projects. I can't promise I'll be as active as before, but if I do anything of substance, it will wind up here

Yes friends and neighbors that's right. Finally got off my rump to set the livestream back up.
I'll be putting the finishing touches on a character costume concept, then starting the female version from (near) scratch.
Also testing out some audio for the first time so you'll get to hear my dulcet voice. Happy to chat and answer questions as I go and let me know if the music in the background is a bother...
